In addition, there is a designated 3 acre farm/finca solely for the use of community food production and enjoyment. Reserva Conchal is a gated community with 24 hour security. Sanara is a condominium within Reserva Conchal and there will also be controlled access to Sanara.
EDGE (“Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies”) is a green building standard and an international green building certification system focused on making buildings more resource-efficient. It is presently used in over 100 countries. It was a green building solution created by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group. EDGE provides guidelines to optimize building designs to use less energy, water, and sustainable materials. Sanara is obtaining EDGE certification.

No. Anyone can buy and own in Costa Rica. Foreign buyers of titled real estate in Costa Rica have the same rights as Costa Rican nationals. The Sanara residences are being constructed on a fully entitled “deeded” property. Fee simple ownership is the same in Costa Rica as in the U.S/Canada/Europe. Additionally, the law permits anyone who has invested $150,000 or more on property with the ability to apply for residency.

Steady trade winds make the warmer summer months pleasurable. Rainy season goes from May to November, which means a few showers for a couple of hours mostly during the afternoon and at night. Convenience items such as a pharmacy, medical clinic and groceries are within a short 5-minute drive. The marina is a quick 5-7 minutes from Sanara. There is a very large variety of Restaurants abound from local cafes to fine dining from 2, 5, 10 and 15 minutes. Also, the nightlife of Tamarindo is 15 minutes and surfing in Playa Grande is 20 minutes.
The beach club where there are several restaurants, co-working space, a full gym, spa, paddle boards, SUP, bikes, kayak is 1 mile or 1.5 him from Sanara or 3-5 minutes in golf cart ride. The new sports complex will be located only 5 minutes walking and/or 1 minute in a golf cart.
Homeowners insurance with umbrella coverage is available by numerous carriers representing Costa Rica property. Rates are typically lower in CR versus other countries as fires are rare and it is not a hurricane zone.
